Seventh Grader Wins SMS Spelling Bee

Congratulations to seventh grader Lucy Hebda for winning the Sherman Middle School spelling bee!

Lucy didn’t miss a word as she competed against 22 of her peers in ten rounds. She took the win with the word “zucchini.”

Seventh grader Shelby Rascon won second place and eighth grader Mathias Verduguez placed third.
